Warrant of Fitness

A WOF is the check that keeps your car legal, and it is the job most people ring us about first. If something fails, we will tell you what it is, what it will cost and what it will take before anything is started — and because the workshop does the repairs as well as the inspection, the car usually does not have to go anywhere else.

Scheduled servicing

Oil and filters, fluids, brakes, belts, and the checks the manufacturer asks for at that mileage. We use Liqui Moly lubricants — a German oil brand chosen for the European vehicles we see most — and we will tell you what the car actually needs rather than what a standard package says it needs.

Mechanical repairs

Brakes, clutches, exhausts, transmissions, cooling, suspension and steering, and the diagnostic work that comes before all of it. If the fault is electrical rather than mechanical, it does not leave the building — the auto electrician is here too.

Tyres, wheel alignment and air conditioning

Tyres and wheel alignment, and air conditioning service and repair. A car that pulls, wears a tyre unevenly or blows warm in February is usually a short job, and it is worth doing before it becomes a long one.

What happens when you bring a car in

1. You ring or email. Make, model, rego, and what it is doing.
2. We book it in and tell you how long we need the car for.
3. We look at it and ring you with what we have found and what it will cost.
4. Nothing gets done until you say so.
